What is Kirandur?

The World

Kirandur is a labor of love. A high fantasy world of elves, dwarves, orcs, dragons, and flesh possessing bugs, it spreads across seven continents, three seas, and numerous realities that rub shoulders with it. It is a place where anyone can live a comfortable life if they work at it, but stray too far off the beaten path and you will find dangers and horrors... but perhaps some glory and treasure too.

The Game

Kirandur the game will be an MMORPG that lets you explore this world, one continent at a time. You will embody an adventurer making their way through it's various cities, forests, mountains, valleys of death and decay... They are those that stray off that beaten path and reap all the benefits of such a life. You'll be able to choose a race, a class, and an origin to be who you want to be. You'll be able to sail the Sea Of Shifting, walk the halls of the Stoneshire Academy, or try your best to outdrink the bootlegger Drinker gnomes. (You won't. Trust me... you just won't.) Collect treasure, slay enemies, (don't tell Talon that some of those are dragons), and make your mark on this world.

Who Are The Kuloran Players?

Well, I am delighted you've asked! The Kuloran Players are the best looking, best dressed, most intelligent, humorous, and perfect people ever to walk the ways of Kirandur. They have skills abound, legends among legends. Some write the plays. Some know how to turn a draft into a roaring dragon through the magic of sound. Others know how to work with the various complex machinery needed to run an amazing stage play, though those ones are a little shy.

The Kuloran Players, turning off the fancifulness for a moment, are a group of fantasy nerds, sound designers, writers, and programmers, who have always wanted a truly immersive MMORPG to play. Unfortunately, we haven't many options to choose from, so with a collective slap of the knee and a true can-do spirit, we all stood up and said, "Whelp, I spose I'll do it myself."

So, now, here we are, ready to bring Kirandur to life for you. Critter, in fact, hasn't shut up about how excited he is since day one. He also likes to annoy Byte Bender by thanking him profusely, and often. But that excitement runs through the whole team. And every single one of them is excited to see where it all ends up.
