A World Turns Two: Kirandur Playable Demo!
Hail, friends! I'd like to announce today that soon, you will be able to, for a short time, step into the world of Kirandur!
With the two year anniversary of The Kuloran Players fast approaching, we wanted to think of a way to celebrate that was bigger than a competition. It had to be bigger than a celebratory post... though, you'll of course get that too. We decided to go as big as we feasibly could, so for a few days coming soon, you'll be able to create a character and explore pieces of Kirandur, solve some mysteries, and, the best part, relax on a seaside island with all of your friends. Psst: You could win that island for the game's full release. More details on that to come.
I won't provide specific dates yet, except one: August 8th, the two year anniversary of Kirandur, is when we will announce details on when the demo will go live, details on how to make your TKP account, and some other details for Patreon early access. If you're not a Patreon supporter yet, the whole team would greatly appreciate it if you'd join us at: https://patreon.com/kpguild
Until we have more to share, you can hear our audio demos at: https://kpguild.games/audiopub
With that, I sign off, but look below for some FAQ. And as always, if you have any questions, reach out to us on our Discord or any other platform you'd like. Thank you all!
Frequently Asked Questions:
How long will the demo be live?
We will keep it up for a minimum of three days.
Does this mean the full game is almost ready?
Not quite. We still have a lot to work on, but we wanted to share this with you to hopefully hold you over until then.
Will the demo cost money?
No! It's free to play all the way through!
Am I allowed to have multiple characters for the demo?
Absolutely! You are given up to 5 created characters at once, and can delete any you no longer intend to use. Only one account though.
Will my progress be saved between the demo and full release?
No. Given the changing content creation, there will need to be tweaks and tightenings, and everyone will start from scratch. We will take note of things where necessary.
Are you taking suggestions?
Absolutely! This is your chance to try out the game. Tell us what you like and don't like, so we can take that down as we move forward.
How stable is the server?
In our testing, with a maximum of roughly 10 staff members on at once, it has been very stable. This is our first time showing it to the public, so if any major server lag or other issues present themselves, we will take the server down for repairs and tweaks. Uptime will be extended for compensation in the event of extended downtime.
How can I chat about the demo?
How else can I contact you?
